Pedal for Pudsey
8th - 9th October 2015 Happening nation wide
24 hour static bike challenge.
In October, thousands of Lloyds Banking Group colleagues from across the country joined forces to raise money for BBC Children in Need all on static bikes.
In teams of six, 1,300 colleagues cycled the equivalent of more than twice around the world across 55 sites in just 24 hours as part of our Pedal for Pudsey initiative. There were even some colleagues who rode the full 24 hours themselves!
Colleagues wore fancy dress, from their favourite superheroes, to sporting icons all to help keep them motivated and to encourage members of the public and colleagues to support them.
Ranjit Singh, one of our Bank Managers, said "Lloyds Bank Shirley colleagues have always been big supporters of the bank's Charity of the Year raising large amounts of money for good causes by taking on incredible challenges.
"Colleagues across the business got involved and we have already raised more than £3 million for this year's Appeal."
